Master of Arts in Art Education (Online)

Immerse yourself in the Artist Teacher experience. Master of Music in Music Education (Online)

Upon acceptance into the online Master's Degree in Music Education, you will be assigned to a small group of students led by a course instructor and a music education facilitator. Next, you will begin interacting with this group online through message boards, chat sessions, and e-mail. This educational construct will allow you to pursue your degree from anywhere and to maintain your current professional obligations. Coursework in the Master's in Music Education program can be completed in 17 - 20 months. The final course, MU 768, Curriculum Project in Music Education, will consist of seven weeks working with faculty to prepare for writing a curriculum project for use in your classroom. You will have up to an additional 7 weeks to complete this project with access to an advisor. In addition to the required courses, students may need to take MU 400, Graduate Theory Review based on the results of a music theory proficiency exam.
