Audio Production - Bachelor of Fine Arts

Prepare to translate your passion for music into career opportunities through The Academy's Audio Production program in Las Vegas. Wherever there is inspiration to be captured, your skills in audio production can make you an integral part of the creative process.

The Audio Production program is designed to develop advanced techniques in recording, mixing and mastering. Principles of MIDI, synthesis and sound design for CD production, film and video production will be addressed. The program introduces current trends in both analog and digital audio production as they apply to studio recording, sound reinforcement and electronic music. Opportunities to compose, perform and record music are integrated into the program.

By taking career-focused audio production training courses, you'll be introduced to the essentials including DVD Authoring, Surround Sound Techniques, Studio Design and Maintenance, Foley for Film and Television, and Understanding the Music Business.

Fashion Design - Associate of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts

The program in fashion design is an intense course of study that is designed to prepare graduates for a career in the designing, creating and marketing of fashion.

Students are introduced to the development and construction of apparel, as well as the fundamentals of design and the sourcing and use of textiles. The student can combine hands-on skills training with a variety of creative design projects. An introduction into the world of fashion design, computer applications and the knitting machine are all part of our quality fashion design program in Las Vegas.

Game Production - Bachelor of Fine Arts

The bachelor's degree program in game design and development provides training in principles and techniques used to create interactive 2D- and 3D-computer games.

  • Game engines used to design and develop games

Project management, creative design and communications skills are integrated throughout this dynamic curriculum to prepare students for entry-level positions in the game design and development industry

Graphic Design - Associate of Science & Bachelor of Fine Arts

The graphic design program can help prepare students for an entry-level position in the exciting, evolving graphic design industry. Courses stress conceptualization and design capabilities, while practical, hands-on lab classes emphasize critical production skills.

This graphic design program in Las Vegas begins with a core of basic skills training and gradually builds to more advanced techniques, including animation and multimedia. Students can develop skills using the equipment and software currently used in the field.

The general education component of this program is designed to enhance these technical skills by adding broad-based, problem-solving and human-relations insights from other academic disciplines. Attracting creative and detail-minded individuals with a desire to improve the conditions of our built environment, students can discover how interiors--designed properly and inventively--can influence human interaction, emotional response and improve the quality of our lives. The curriculum encourages the student to experiment with:
