Pennsylvania Institute of Technology offers a range of technical and business programs to prepare students for careers in chosen fields or as a foundation for continuing education. PIT's priority is the creation and maintenance of an atmosphere conducive to the learning endeavor and the comprehensive development of the student. Since 1974, the Career Placement Office has placed 94% of available graduates in technical positions related to their education.

Each degree presents a program designed to provide practical, hands-on courses for students who wish to begin their careers immediately following graduation. PIT constantly monitors these changes and modifies courses and curricula to meet the changing demands of business, industry, science and education.
