At Brooks Institute you receive the education you deserve with these three key traits:
Passion
At Brooks Institute you can "feel" the energy generated by students and staff who are passionate about they do. Students share the same passions, dreams and goals. This common ground gives them a sense of community–-they feel like they belong here.
Vision
Brooks is an education center for creativity, innovation and thought leadership. From day "one" students are immersed in an experiential learning environment where the focus is on learning-by-doing. Alongside insightful, seasoned professionals, students develop the skills, the knowledge and ultimately the vision to transform their passion into a viable career.
Excellence
The goal of the Brooks experience is to give each student the skills and confidence necessary for them to succeed in the workplace. Throughout its 62-year history, a significant number of Brooks graduates and faculty have risen to positions of prominence in their chosen professions, elevating the school's reputation to that of a leader in higher education.
Bachelor of Arts
Brooks Institute's curriculum is focused on offering Bachelor of Arts degrees in professional photography, visual journalism, visual communication, also known as graphic design, and film and video production.
Undergraduate courses are offered in 8-week sessions with 6 starts per calendar year, offering students flexible enrollment options and the opportunity to earn their degree in as few as 3 years. Once enrolled, Brooks' students will spend nearly 70 percent of their education in their chosen field of study and will use only industry current labs, studios and equipment. Additionally, most their instructors also will be working professionals.
