Associate's in Computer Aided Drafting and Design

Computer aided drafting is used in all phases of the design and manufacturing process, from 2D design and technical drawings to 3D models and prototypes.

At Virginia College, you'll be offered training in all aspects of the CAD field, including the following:

You will have access to a broad-based education within a CAD environment. You can become proficient with the most commonly used software and develop basic skills in 3D design, CAD customization and surface modeling, all while you're developing your own professional portfolio.

The curriculum is designed to meet the educational requirements for the NCIDQ exam (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) and is approved by the Alabama Board of Registration for Interior Design.
