Associate in Applied Science Degree or Diploma

The objective of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of Broadcast Graphics Production, Storyboarding, Animation for Broadcast Graphics, DVD Design and Authoring and Digital Video Editing. There is an emphasis on the skills needed to prepare the students for entry-level employment as a Broadcast Graphics Developer, Broadcast Graphics Animator, TV Graphics Designer, Storyboard and Animatic Developer and DVD Developer. The AAS or the Diploma program will provide evidence of competencies in communication, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and interferential reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one's own.

Associate of Applied Science Degree - 6 quarters

Students will learn negotiating with record companies, film companies, managers, recording studios and artists. Students will learn how to facilitate the needs of the artist. Students will have a comprehensive understanding of the music industry and its interrelated business elements. Students shall exemplify a professional business image, with a keen understanding of employers needs in the Music industry. Students will have all the skills needed to supervise recording projects in project studios as well as dealing with the personnel that are needed to run a successful music operation.

Graduates completing this program can expect entry level jobs at production houses, record labels, radio and TV stations, booking agencies, local clubs, retail operations and live performances. Graduates will possess the skills needed for starting up their own Music Business companies.

Associate of Applied Science Degree - 6 quarters

The Programming and Game Development program offers the ultimate union of art and technology. Students enrolled in the program will be expected to learn multiple languages in order to write code for the creation of original computer games.

The goal of the program is to train the students to become marketable as entry level programmers who also have the ability to develop their own digital video games.
