Graphic design can be described as the art of visualizing ideas.
Students learn the basics of art, color theory, design and
typography through hands-on training. Students learn to think
critically, logically and creatively when solving problems. These
combined skills allow our students to serve their client or
company quickly and with great communication skills.

Learn to create web pages, recreate buildings inside the
computer, create complex flash animations, and assemble a
portfolio to present at interviews. PTI can help you put together
all the pieces you need to create a successful career.
PTI offers one of the leading 2-year degrees in multimedia, with
state-of-the-industry computer labs and facilities, and quality
hands-on training. Students learn a variety of the best software
packages and obtain hands-on experience in solid/surface modeling
programs such as 3D Studio Max and AutoCAD.

PTI students are introduced to a variety of industry applications
including web development, audio / video editing and graphics
design, even media for mobile devices. PTI multimedia graduates
complete industry internships and can accept good jobs in areas
such as digital animation, broadcasting and video production.
Students in the multimedia technologies program can choose to
concentrate their studies in one of the following areas:
Video/3-D Design
Students are introduced to special effects, custom animation,
motion tracking, lighting techniques, framing, image composition,
studio recording and mixing, surround sound, DVD authoring,
interactive and web-based video.
Web/Interactive Design
Web/interactive design students are introduced to sound and video
elements, dynamic video, dynamic sound, scripting languages,
design interfaces, enhanced animations, search engine
optimization, client-side interactivity, programming languages
and code troubleshooting.
