Antonelli College, a well-known institution of visual arts education since 1947, has held to the traditions of quality teaching in the fields of visual arts and business and presenting students with the opportunity to develop their gifts and talents into professional skills.

The primary goal of Antonelli College is to create an environment that prepares each graduate to become a qualified professional and a well-rounded individual. Cincinnati Campus

Antonelli College's main campus is located in downtown Cincinnati, occupying seven floors of the East building. The main campus has 30,000 square feet in the main building that includes large studios, lecture classrooms, computer labs and a student lounge. The adjacent annex of 6,340 square feet houses the Interior Design Resource Library, the CADD computer lab, studio classrooms and faculty offices.

Associate of Applied Business in Graphic Design

The Associate of Applied Business in Graphic Design program prepares students for successful careers in advertising, marketing, printing or television. Graduates may enter their career fields in jobs such as production artist, advertising/ packaging designer, desktop publisher, freelance artist, illustrator or cartoonist. Employers include publishing firms, advertising agencies, marketing firms, record companies, greeting card companies and others.

This program stresses fundamental design theory and practice studied through real-world design experiments. Graphic design students will develop the skills necessary to conceive an idea, nurture it and develop it. Skills in creativity will be simultaneously supported with skills in channeling ideas into functional, marketable products.

Associate of Applied Business in Interior Design

The Associate of Applied Business in Interior Design program prepares students for this challenging and exciting profession. It is a field of great creativity whereby all types of interior spaces can be manipulated or altered to form stimulating and functional areas in which to live, work and play. Career choices include working as a freelance designer or consultant, in association with a design studio or design service, design consultation or furnishings display person. Job projects can be residential, commercial and/or institutional.

An extensive course of instruction is necessary for entering this expanding profession. Our educational emphasis is placed on the ability of designers to express clients' wishes through space usage and color, shape, texture and fit of furnishings.

The Associate of Applied Business in Photography program prepares students to enter the field of professional photography with the ability to become successful business people and highly valued employees. Career choices include working as commercial advertising photographers, audio-visual producers, corporate photographers, portrait and wedding photographers or photographic lab technicians. Working environments range from independent commercial studios, corporations, advertising agencies, audio-visual and production houses to photographic labs and professional studios.

The photography program offers a high level of technical training and an understanding of the unique contribution that photography makes to American culture. In addition, the program recognizes that professional photographers often operate private businesses, which require knowledge of business and management practices.
