Our BITM program will immerse you in the theories and diverse
technical competencies that spell success in the information
technology profession. The courses provide fundamental knowledge
and applications in both the information systems function and
system development – but the program also cultivates
general business skills, as it builds your awareness of IT from a
business perspective.
The curriculum is designed to produce accomplished graduates with
the competencies, knowledge, skills, and attitudes so eagerly
sought in the globalized IT workplace. It can 60 drive career

program, course objectives and competencies have been benchmarked
against key guidelines, enabling students to develop and
demonstrate competencies in the five main IT areas: Business

BITM Program Objectives
Graduates of the BITM program will be ideally equipped to become
business leaders in the Information Technology sector and will be
able to demonstrate competency in the following areas:

Visual Communications
The Bachelor of Information Technology Management (BITM)
specialization in Visual Communication concentrates on the
design and development of digital media presentations. The
BITM/VC uses graphic design and technology tools to create
visual communications that are relevant to organizations. As a
result, graduates possesses a diverse portfolio including Web
sites, rich media advertising, corporate reports, business
presentations, instructional materials, animated movies, and
electronic publications that fulfill business and training
needs.
