Got Art Chops?
Your friend has a rad set of muttonchops. Hendrix is the god of
guitar chops. Your last meal would have to be your mom's pork
chops. Your brother can totally bust your chops. Everyone has
chops. If you have mad art chops, you've got the skills to make
art your career. Check out these chops below! You may have
skills you never knew you had.
Illustration Chops?
Your ATM receipts sport hieroglyphics. The cover of your
notebook is a shrine to the bald guy sitting in front of you on
the bus. Your shoes are modern-day temples to canvas and
Sharpie. If these symptoms sound familiar, you have doodle
chops. And once you start hummin' doot-doot-doodly-doo, you're
well on your way to a complete set of illustration chops.
Graphic design Chops?
Beer on the bottom, spaghetti along the side, meat in the
middle, eggs on top. And a baguette 'cause it looks cool.
You've got more than a balanced bag of groceries. You're on an
express line to cooking up some tasty graphic design chops.
Photography Chops?
Hi-tops…f-stops. Lay-up…layout. Triangle
offense…tri-pod. Execute a play…execute a shot.
Shots & points…point & shoot.
Speed…shutter speed. Travel…travel. If you've got
game, you might have photography chops.
3-D Animation Chops?
A Thanksgiving turkey. The Eiffel Tower. A prancing stallion.
Marge Simpson in profile. If you can do this with a wall, a
projector and some hands, imagine what you can do with some 3-D
animation chops.
